First Day of School

Let me lay the outline down for you ... EVERY Wednesday at church Chelsie Lynn throws a fit about staying in her class & eventually ends up coming into bible study w/ me instead of playing ... with other kids ... her age!!!! This also happens every Sunday to the point where I just give in & she once again ends up sitting with me in Church! You would think with both being pretty boring to most adults that the kid would get sick of it & go to where she can play!

Today, the little ones started school! Both of my ladies! After an entire summer of Hailie Jade begging me to take her back to school ... the day her heart has been desiring for 3 months now finally came ... yesterday I asked her if she was nervous ... she looked at me & said ahh no i'm a professional! Seriously she was fine ... once again she walked right into that class w/out a hug & a kiss! I of course went in after to claim what is rightfully mine ... Chelsie Lynn was super excited ... she walked right into that class room & followed the teachers directions right away. No tears no crying no nothing. I just can't believe how grown up she is.

Kitchen is painted ... mint green to match my water melon decor!

The 300 million year old wall paper is gone! Completely gone! --- Chalkboard paint w/ huge wall calendar her we come!

Bathroom is next ... wall paper in there is also gone, killz is next & then bright orange paint to represent the sun set at the beach!

& Now I am completely bored w/ the living room ... any paint color ideas???? I was thinking a really pale blue??

Not many people know this but I am pretty scared of Sink Holes ... I'm a odd ball I know... so when the yard began leaking the first thing I could think of was o crap a sink hole is forming & the entire house is going to get sucked in (hopefully my family isn't their but what about my pictures??) ANYHOW, turns out my imaginary sink hole is really just a busted pipe ... not sure how hard that is to fix since it's underground but I'll keep you posted.

I love, love, love this show & I love these 2! I hope the new season brings them together!!

Ten things I am happy about today:

1. I woke up on time this morning & my hair looks GREAT
2. My ladies must have told me 10 times this morning that they love me
3. I have a job that pays my bills
4. I am reading an AWESOME book
5. The sun is shining & it's HOT
6. 2 people told me I looked great today
7. Cece told me that PINK makes me glow <3
8. I have GREAT friends
9. The wall paper is almost gone
10. I am getting along beautifully with EVERYone

i think i'm going to go for a walk tonight!

i told myself last year on my birthday that i was not getting any older than 25 and then a year went by and still even days before i was swearing 25, 25, 25! Even on birthday night i was saying yep 25 again! then it hit me ... i am a completely different person than i was last year ... i have tackled my fears and accomplished so much that i am PROUD to say that i am ready for 26! getting older is just a part of life something we cannot change so y not run with it and make the very best you can out of it!

In the works now is peeling the 300 year old wall paper off of the dining room walls ... and painting the 4 walls with Chalk Board paint. This will be a wonderful addition to a wall in that room ... what do you think?
