It's ok to be coy.

You’re intriguing and people want to know more about you, but there’s a limit to what you have to reveal. Sometimes acquaintances, relatives, dates, etc ask really prying questions about uncomfortable topics. “Whatever happened to that fiance of yours?” “How much money did you make, big shot?” “Do you have a plan for your future and, if so, would you tell me about it right now?” Boundaries people, boundaries. Maybe they are just curious because they like you, but if your feelings are in jeopardy, you can dodge the question. You’re not being rude, they are, and most likely (if you smile while being evasive) they won’t even notice.

Today remind yourself: It’s ok to be coy.

somethin to SRLY think about!
