My Top 10

I started following A"Cheery"disposition's blog a while back ... girl has a heart of Gold & we share a love for reading & traveling the world. She wrote a blog where she picked the top 10 places in the world she would love to travel to. I thought this would be easy to pick & so I wasn't going to blog on it ... turns out it's pretty difficult. Took me a bunch of days and many changed picks ... and like Whitney said it is like telling the rest of the world you are not good enough for my top 10. But I am here to say world I would LOVE to travel you through & through and one day I will ... choosing 10 was a challenge but these are the places I will go to first.

1. Rio,Brazil - This is for sure my number one. I have wanted to travel here since I was a little girl. Images of this place have always taken my breath away. And since I was saved 13 years ago I have dreamed of seeing the Christ Redeemer statue. Not to mention the rain forests, waterfalls, mountains & beaches. I can't wait to visit this beautiful country.
2. Frankfurt, Germany - I have been here before but I was only like 3 or 4 years old. You see this falls number two on my list because half of my family lives here. And besides they have castles!
3. Australia - I love animals & I love beaches so what better place to get the best of both my loves? It's simple Australia would make me very happy.
4. Jerusalem, Israel - It's simple. Museums & Churches. Temples & Tombs. Being close to Jesus is a huge dream of mine.
5. Egypt - I would love to travel all over Egypt. In Cario I would soak up all the Islamic architecture, visit ALL of the Giza Pyramids and the Egyptian museums. Luxor for the Valley of the kings.Aswan is all about relaxation & amazing sights. Hurghada because I have always wanted to see the Red Sea. Alexandria brings so many glimpses of the past.

6. Rome - I would stay here for months and months and months! Literally rent a house, apartment or shack because really it wouldn't matter where the hell you stayed...HELLO you're in ROME! The language is beautiful it always has been since my first visit here too long ago when I was to young to appreciate it. I want to walk this town & look at everything. I want to learn the language & eat lots of food. Of course the top attractions but I would also go here for Twilight (do remember I'm obsessed). I might also take the train to beautiful London and stay a day while in Rome it's so freaking close why not.

7. China - I heart Panda Bears ... so what better place than China to see the little furry creatures? But I wouldn't travel to China just for those black & white cuties alone. I would go to Beijing & visit one of the "Eight wonders of the world", the Great Wall of China. The forbidden city has always been something I've wanted to see. I would love to enjoy their culture and visit the gardens, parks and Temples.

8. Ireland - O Ireland! Yes yes! Home of the most friendliest people & soooo green! Ireland is one of my top choices simply for 3 reasons. 1. The Pubs 2. The Beauty 3. The accents!

9. Greece - Oh what a beautiful country. Full of Great food, amazing scenery and awesome culture. Greece is another country I would spend months in. I want to see every bit of this country. All of the islands and mountains. I want to eat all the wonderful food and stay in an apartment living on the side of a cliff. I want to see this country in the winter & in the spring. I want to jump off one of the cliffs into the ocean. I want to walk these streets & meet as many people as possible. I say 6 months in Rome & 6 months in Greece.
10. Thailand - Natural landscapes, amazing night life, beautiful beaches and unique culture.

As you can tell I am a sucker for History, Culture, Beauty & Sunshine. All though this was really hard to pick only 10 ... listen I almost added an 11 I had a really fun time imagining that I was actually going to be leaving any day for these destinations. These are in no particular order except my number one Brazil. I have always said I wish I could get paid to be a Mommy, read, travel & eat! Thanks Whitney for the great idea.
