thanks!!!!
You're flipping out for a good reason.
Pep Talk: Changes that are positive can also be stressful. Go ahead, freak the fuck out. Feel your nerves, scream a bit, let your hands shake, but also try to recognize the total joy at the core of these reactions. This is crazy good. This is what you want.
Today remind yourself: I’m flipping out for a good reason.

You always have options.
It’s very tempting to take the easy way out, to do what you’re wanted and expected to. You can choose the sure thing, no judgment here, and the result will be predictable. Unless you’re Cal Ripken, the choice to toe the line probably won’t make history. However, not choosing the sure thing can change the world. Even if the only alternative is to wait for another option to be revealed, it’s a monumental decision.
Today remind yourself: I always have options
Smell the flowers, not the weeds.
Quick story. Yesterday, my friend Lauren was devoting some serious face-in-dirt effort to pulling weeds. She noticed something smelled nice and thought it must be the weeds because they were everywhere. So she picked one up and smelled it. It wasn’t the weed- It was the rosebush she hadn’t noticed she was beside. Metaphor Alert! A person can be too swamped to recognize that there are great things right under their nose. Good stuff deserves your attention too. And you deserve the good stuff.
Today remind yourself: Smell the flowers, not the weeds.
Cowboys RUN in
I believe that nothing is conincedence ... it's all the work of God!
Crushed by loss? Time will tell for Magic
Last nights game was umm... something more than an embarrassment to Orlando. The entire game was filled with mistakes ... from the coach to the best player on the team missing 8 fucking FT. At the end of the game I realized ... it is in fact just a game. And those players are nothing more than Human!!! Here is a very good/ heart touching story of last nights game in case you missed it.
ORLANDO, Fla. -- He sat alone at his locker, his back turned away from everyone, barely saying a word to anybody for 10 minutes, then 10 more, then another 10, and then a few more.
Finally, when the Orlando Magic locker room had been cleared of all but the final stragglers, Dwight Howard rose slowly from his chair, walked over to a large mirror covering almost an entire wall, and looked into it. Silently.
Back to his locker he went to retrieve his light yellow dress shirt before he doubled back to the mirror, walked to within inches of it, and stared himself in the face.
Whatever he was thinking, whatever he was saying to himself, he kept to himself.
"Gonna be able to come back from that?" he was asked ever so gingerly when he returned to his stall.
"Why not?" Howard said.
Well, that was a pretty tough loss, came the obvious answer.
"So what?" Howard replied. "Life is tough."
Yes it is, and if anyone ever needs to reference one of the toughest losses a team has ever absorbed in an NBA Finals, they can go back and have a look-see at this one -- the loss that seems almost destined to go down in the annals of the Orlando Magic's history as the night they blew their chance at winning the franchise's first championship.
You know those 14-year-old nightmares starring Nick Anderson in Game 1 of the 1995 Finals that everyone around here references? They'll pale now in comparison to this, a night that will go down as a multilayered collapse of epic proportions, a night when missed free throws by Howard, a mistaken strategy by Stan Van Gundy and a mistimed emotional blowup by Mickael Pietrus were only a few of the major and minor things that combined to all but shatter the Magic's hopes of defeating the Los Angeles Lakers for the 2009 NBA title.
"That one will haunt me forever," Van Gundy said of his decision not to instruct the Magic to intentionally foul the Lakers when they inbounded with 11 seconds left, trailing by three, and got one of two super-clutch 3-pointers from Derek Fisher in a 99-91 overtime victory Thursday night that dropped the Magic into a 3-1 hole.

I love this GIRL!!!
There's no failure in your world.
- Pep talk: It is impossible for you to fail. What is failure? Who decides that?? No matter how fucked things seem, there's time to unfuck them. There are options. You're too loved to give up. Your support system- family, friends, government aid program- is willing to lend a hand. Reach out and carry on.
- Today remind yourself: There's no failure in my world.

I am sooo getting this!!!!
My Night In the ER
You know when you were a child & your parents told you not to jump on the bed? Ugh & you were so upset? I mean I know for sure I was. Well now that I am a parent I find myself constantly telling my children not to jump on the bed. Actually, I find myself telling/scolding my children about the same things my own father scolded me about & back then I found no logic to his thinkings ... today I think differently about them. The above photos show why you should NOT jump on the bed. This is my baby in the hospital at 1 am in the morning! Neck brace on, miserable & completely terrified all because she was jumping on the bed. This is why Mommies tell their babies not to jump on the bed. Well after lots of crying, the neck brace, the exam and a Cat Scan ... luckily nothing is torn, broken or paralyzed it's just a sprain.
Have I said lately that I love being a Mommy? Well even after hours in the ER ... a night of my girl kicking me ... going to sleep at 2 am & up at 6 am for work ... I still LOVE being a MOMMY!!

Exactly!!
If it feels good, do it.
Pep Talk: Some things, you do for love. Some for money. I’m sure there are other reasons to do things, but damned if I can think of any. When you put all your energy into your work and it feels good, who cares why you do it?Today remind yourself: If it feels good, do it.
"Remember how far this one good thing got you from all those bad things. That is priceless."
I know that I will be fine ... I'm just a little bit sad ... no really I'm a lot a bit sad ... but if God brings you to it ... he will bring you through it!!
I'm very glad for this!!!!
What you don't know could fill a book.
Pep Talk: Good thing too because what would interest you if you knew everything? There are subjects out there that you don’t even know exist. There’s so much yet for you to see and learn. We’re so damn lucky.
Today remind yourself: What I don’t know could fill a book.
