You’re strong and resilient, but ya know what needs protection? Your heart. Throwing yourself at love unwisely and with absolute abandon can do a doozy on your heart and your self esteem. Remember, you don’t have to constantly feel head-over-heels-in-love to be a completely worthwhile and whole individual. Approaching love gingerly doesn’t invalidate your feelings and it might even make your heart heartier! My advice: eat some oatmeal, get some exercise, and practice safer love.
