Don't take the bait!
Pep Talk: People are tricky, yo. We’re complicated and sometimes we act with baffling, contradictory motives. Whether you’re a grudge holder or an avid forgiver, I know you have your reasons. I wouldn’t recommend shunning everyone what annoys you, but when someone is actively mean to you, they instantly lose the privilege of your company and attention. They are not only the shittiest dumbshits ever; they also do not deserve a second chance to hurt you. You’re a wonderful, intuitive friend with a huge heart. If you’re being reeled back into an unhealthy relationship, fight it! People can change, but they usually don’t.
